Heyens Hospitality, a leader in the luxury wedding and event industry, is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial-minded Venue Sales Manager to accelerate business growth and bookings at Prospect House, one of our premier venues. With a focus on exceptional service and personalized experiences, Heyens Hospitality takes pride in creating unforgettable moments for our clients.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with a business development mentality who is passionate about building relationships, driving direct sales, and contributing to the long-term success of an evolving venue. The right candidate will be proactive in seeking new business, demonstrate a commitment to high-level customer service, and possess a passion for growing revenue while maintaining the exceptional standards that define Heyens Hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Actively pursue and cultivate new leads through networking, attending industry events, and establishing connections with wedding planners, corporate event organizers, and other relevant partners.
  • Respond to Inbound Leads: Quickly engage with inbound leads for weddings and events, ensuring a high level of responsiveness to convert inquiries into venue tours and bookings.
  • Conduct High-Impact Venue Tours: Showcase Prospect House’s unique offerings, including our updated amenities and in-house services like floral and wedding planning, positioning these as added value for clients.
  • Negotiate and Close Sales: Lead the sales process with a strong focus on achieving growth and hitting revenue targets. Manage contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate on Cross-Promotion: Work closely with the floral and wedding planning teams to package and promote integrated services that enhance the client experience and maximize overall revenue.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Regularly generate and analyze sales reports to identify trends, adjust strategies, and optimize lead conversion. Leverage tools like Dubsado to track progress and drive efficiency.
  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and execute strategies to grow the number of events and increase revenue at Prospect House. Implement targeted initiatives to increase bookings during off-peak seasons.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally within the weddings, special events, or hospitality industry, with a strong focus on new business development.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close high-value contracts.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—eager to take ownership of business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage leads, client follow-ups, and reporting efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams to cross-promote services and develop package offerings.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, including weekends and evenings when necessary.
